Your Visit

Welcome to Taunton Brewhouse! We do hope you enjoy your visit. Please note, our St James entrance is open again so you may enter and leave via this or the riverside entrance.

We are following the current government guidelines and helping to keep you safe by making mask wearing mandatory for anyone visiting the theatre from 10 December. Please note that this applies to everyone – unless under 11, medically exempt, or while eating and drinking. This new policy is part of a range of measures we already have in place to keep audiences safe.

We are also deep cleaning the building and have hand sanitisation stations at various point in the venue, which we ask that you please use as you come in.

This is a difficult time for everyone and we appreciate your support and understanding. For further details, please click here.

If you have any specific queries or questions that haven't been covered here, please contact between 10am – 4pm on weekdays.

CV19 - Your New Supporting Role

We know you were looking forward to the show but sometimes we have to reschedule or even cancel. (We can't wait to see the back of Covid.) If you find yourself with a ticket for one of these shows these are your options.

Reissued tickets - for your event on a new date (where a reschedule has been possible)

Credit added to your Taunton Brewhouse account - which can then be used for any event in the future, and is valid for 2 years (and we are sure there will be plenty of shows coming up which you will want to see).

Refund - the cost of your tickets will be credited to the card you paid with, or by bank transfer if you paid in cash.

Donation - the past two years have been tough for the arts sector. Therefore, we are hugely grateful to those people who elect to donate the full or partial cost of their tickets to Taunton Brewhouse to help support our charity. Many thanks if you decide to choose this option.

Situated in a stunning location in the heart of Taunton on the banks of the River Tone.

Our aim is to make Taunton Brewhouse as accessible as possible so everyone can enjoy all the entertainment and activity that we offer. Here are some of the things we are dong to make your visit easier.

We have a Hearing Loop system running in the Main Auditorium.

There is wheelchair access to all of our public areas including the main auditorium, studio theatre and creative hub.

We have three wheelchair spaces in our main auditorium, accessed from the ground floor, with carer's seats beside them. Do have a look at our Seating Plan for more information.

If you are a wheelchair user or a carer we request where possible that you arrive a minimum of 20 minutes before the performance starts. This is to ensure we can get you seated comfortably so you can enjoy the show.

If you have any concerns or questions or any additional needs, our Box Office staff will be more than happy to help. Do call them on 01823 283 244 in advance and we will do our utmost to help you and make your visit as easy and enjoyable as possible.

We are always looking at ways to improve so do let us know what we could do to make your visit easier.

Some people like to sit right in the centre. Others on the edge. With our seating plan you can pick exactly where you want to sit to make the most of the show. Take a look at our Seating Plan below or download your own copy here.
