Following HM Government’s recent announcement, the Brewhouse Theatre & Arts Centre will be reopening for cinema screenings from August 2020.
Live performances are still under review and we are contacting all bookers for events covering April - September 30th directly. Please bear with us as we deal with a high volume of requests.

Live Events & Cinema Updates
We still want you to have access to all of the amazing events & activities that we had lined up, so we're rescheduling as many of these as possible and will continue to post updates on our website and social media about these.
Changes are being made to our Live & Cinema line up regularly, so to help you understand all of these changes here's a quick explanation of the terms that we're using:
- Cancelled – event will not be taking place and we can not reschedule it
- Pending – we are in discussion about rescheduling the event and await confirmation
- Postponed – we have successfully rescheduled the event to a date in the future
Take Part Activities
Regular Take Part Activities are still suspended at present.
FREE Family Outdoor Thursday's will be running throughout August, with strict social distancing measures in place.
On-site activities may be cancelled, but you can still sign up for our Take Part Online classes. Take a look at our full list of classes here.
Ticket Holder Options
The following options are available for those with tickets to events and activities originally scheduled from now until the end of July 2020 only:
- Reissued tickets - for your event on a new date (where this has been possible)
- Credit added to your Brewhouse account - which can be used for any event in the future
- Refund - credited to the card you paid with, or by cheque if you paid in cash
- Donation – you can elect to donate the full or partial cost of your tickets to The Brewhouse to help support our charity during this challenging time
Events On/After 30th September 2020
It is possible to still book events from August 2020. We will continue to monitor and take guidance from HM Government Public Health England and Art Sector bodies. In the event we are unable to deliver events in May and/or subsequent months, the above Ticket Holder choices will apply.

The Brewhouse runs a Hearing Loop system in the Main Auditorium.
The Brewhouse has wheelchair access to all of its public areas including the main auditorium, studio theatre and creative hub.
There are three wheelchair spaces in our main auditorium, accessed from the ground floor, with carers seats directly behind. Please see out Seating Plan for more information.
Where possible we would request arrival time of a minimum of 20 minutes prior to performances for wheelchair users in order to ensure we can get you seated comfortably.
