Venue Hire

An over-the-shoulder photo of someone in a meeting looking happy

Situated at the heart of Somerset’s county town, on the bank of the River Tone, rich industrial history meets modern art facilities at Taunton Brewhouse.

Centred around a Grade II listed Georgian building – the Old Brewery House, from which the theatre derives its name – Taunton Brewhouse is a living reflection of the town’s evolution. Following more than 200 years of industry on the Coal Orchard, the theatre was opened in 1977, and has benefitted from expansions and refurbishments in the near half-century since.

We host a lively programme of artistic events ranging from traditional drama to concerts to stand-up comedy, as well as corporate conferences and awards evenings. We treat every hire as bespoke to best tailor our setup to your event. Whatever your occasion, our versatile venue and dynamic team can facilitate.

We are a multi-purpose arts centre, catering for professional arts organisations, community groups, schools and businesses.

All Taunton Brewhouse facilities (save the offices located on the first floor) are fully accessible. We offer competitive rates and a range of optional extras — from technical support to catering — to suit every need. For more information, please email [email protected].
