Cast Announced for Wind in the Willows

The cast for Taunton Brewhouse’s Christmas production of Wind in the Willows (9 December 2021 – 2 January 2022) has been announced.

Christopher Bonwell (Rat), Jeremy Lloyd (Toad), Ashton Owen (Mole) and Caroline Parker MBE (Badger) will play the four principal roles in the exciting festive production, which is directed by Anna Fox. They will be joined by Zain Abrahams, Milla Harding, Stephanie Houtman and Bronte Tadman, who will each play a variety of roles, including rabbits, hedgehogs, weasels and washerwomen. The show will also feature Taunton Brewhouse’s Youth Ensemble of local school children who get the fantastic opportunity to perform alongside professional actors.

Will Bourdillon, Artistic Programmes Manager, said; “We are delighted with the final cast for this production. They are all skilled performers with a vast array of experience between them, from film to TV and theatre, and we can’t wait to see them bring this classic tale to life! Rehearsals are now underway – and the play is really taking shape. We look forward to opening the show and welcoming audiences from the 9 Dec.”

Ashton Owen (Mole)

Caroline Parker (Badger)

Professional credits include: Oliver Twist (Ramps on the Moon / Leeds Playhouse); Cinderella (CAST Theatre); Twelfth Night (Southwark Playhouse); Moving On (BBC); Doctors (BBC); Murphy’s Law (BBC); Switch (BBC); If I Don’t Lose, I’ll Lose (BSLBT Zone). Caroline also BSL interpreted the closing number, I Am What I Am, at the opening ceremony of the London 2012 Paralympic Games alongside Beverley Knight.
