Finance Assistant

We seek an assistant to work 4 hours per week in our Finance Office carrying out a range of financial and administrative tasks. You will handle data entry, paper and cash reconciliations, issue invoices and secure prompt payment amongst other administrative duties and provide desk research support.

The ideal candidate will have 5 GCSEs including Maths and English, Grade C or above, with good IT experience and be skilled with spreadsheets, word processing and data bases. You’ll be well organised with a pro-active attitude, good attention to accuracy and detail as well as being honest and trustworthy. You’ll able to work effectively as a team member and cope well with pressure. You’ll also be enthusiastic about the arts. It is a good opportunity for those with experience looking to return to work, or for a student studying accountancy who wants to gain experience.

For experienced adults, we offer an annual salary of £15,750 pro rata (£8.65 per hour). For students, pay will be related to age and experience.
