Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, this senior short-term assignment will suit a proactive individual with a broad range of financial, administrative and organisational skills. The work comprises maternity cover for our Finance Supervisor (a part-time role), as well as tackling projects including handling HR matters day to day and assisting with administrative and organisational development work as required by the Chief Executive.
As senior finance person, you will be responsible for administering and supervising our finances and accounts, both for the charity and its trading company, from day to day processing through to producing reports for the senior management team and our Board of Trustees and providing relevant paperwork for the audit of accounts. You will line manage the part-time Finance Assistant.
For HR, you will handle administrative work associated with employees and support line managers who work with our larger number of volunteers.
Project work will include working on matters related to organisational development, longer term plans, as well as work on grants and funds as required by and in conjunction with the Chief Executive.
The ideal candidate will be able to manage and prioritise a busy and diverse workload, while demonstrating high-quality administrative, IT and communications skills and will enjoy being part of the team that has achieved fast growth for the theatre and the community.
