Development and Executive Assistant

Full-time post : £18,000 pa

We seek a collaborative individual with 1-2 years’ experience in arts administration and an interest in fundraising and development to support the work of our Chief Executive and our Communications and Development Manager.   Confident, with good communication skills and with a multi-tasking mindset and attention to detail, you will research Trusts and Foundations, assist with funding applications, administer the Friends Scheme, support donor events and activities and provide a wide range of administrative to the Chief Executive.  This is a role with potential for further professional development.  

At this challenging and exciting time, we aim to recover, refocus and regenerate following the impact of the COVID19 pandemic.   After temporary closure and arrival of Amy Bere as our Chief Executive, we seek to position The Brewhouse as a hub of creativity and bold artistic vision in the heart of Somerset.

The Brewhouse Theatre and Arts Centre has a riverside location in the centre of Somerset’s County and newly designated ‘Garden’ Town.  The building dating from 1977 includes a 352-seat auditorium, studio, rehearsal, exhibition and meeting spaces and associated facilities.   Taunton Theatre Association, a registered charity, has been Operator since 201.
