Box Office Co-ordinator

Excellent opportunity for a pro-active and resourceful individual to become part of a dynamic team tasked with developing The Brewhouse Theatre. Having responsibility for the day-to-day Box Office function and deputising for the FOH Supervisor when necessary, the Box Office Co-ordinator will work closely with our large team of volunteers who fulfil box office and FOH functions.

This is a customer facing role, the ‘visible face’ of The Brewhouse providing excellent customer service and accurate information to the public. Stationed predominantly at the box office you will be responsible for ensuring the volunteers are up-to-date with the venue’s programme and its activities. You will also act as the duty manager in the absence of the FOH Supervisor responsible for the smooth running of public events, set-up and clearing of rooms for events and functions, receiving and checking-in of stock.

Essential skills include knowledge of box office and IT systems, experience of working with or being a volunteer, a trusted multi-tasker with ability to work as part of a team and well under pressure.

The post holder will report to the FOH Supervisor and must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as the job dictates.
