FULL COURSE INFO
A group for older members and those with a little more experience. Work together to devise original and exciting theatre with Wassail, exploring how to make and do. An excellent opportunity to push yourself to the next level and gain masses of confidence as you go.
New members are always welcome, and no experience is necessary – although a willingness to play is essential!
Wassail Theatre Company runs The Brewhouse Youth Theatre. Wassail is based in Somerset, making work for audiences across the whole county, and an associate company at The Brewhouse. You might have seen Wassail at The Brewhouse with The Giants (2015) or Reclaimed (2018), and in Taunton with Rex the King (2017 & 2018) or Horses! Horses! (2018).
Like Wassail’s professional shows, The Brewhouse Youth Theatre make plays that put the audience in the middle of the experience. We talk a lot about making plays that are authentic and entertaining. We take inspiration for ideas from amazing stories that come from Somerset.
We strongly advise booking your tickets to this activity in advance. Places are limited and we do not accept reservations, so arriving on the day may result in disappointment. Booking in advance also helps our workshop leaders to prepare your session and plan for any additional access needs you may have ahead of time.
