We’re excited to bring you our regular Take Part sessions online, giving you instant access to professional tutors and facilitators from in and around Somerset.

Work together to devise original and exciting theatre with Wassail, exploring how to make and do. An excellent opportunity to push yourself to the next level of stage performance while gaining masses of confidence as you go.

New members are always welcome, and no experience is necessary – although a willingness to play is essential!

Brewhouse Associate Company, Wassail Theatre Co are based in Somerset, and make work for audiences across the whole county. You might have seen Wassail at The Brewhouse with The Giants (2015) or Reclaimed (2018), and in Taunton with Rex the King (2017 & 2018) or Horses! Horses! (2018).

Youth Theatre Company make plays that put the audience in the middle of the experience, while taking inspiration from amazing stories that come from in and around Somerset.

If you like the sound of these classes, please book your spot in advance. This helps our workshop leaders to prepare your session and plan for additional access requirements where necessary.

ABOUT SELINA
Selina Keedwell is a Theatre Practitioner and Performer, with a specific interest in creating and exploring theatre for young people and teenage audiences – theatre that comes from the heart of those at play. Selina trained in Physical Theatre & Dance, and completed her PGCE in English & Drama at University of Exeter. She has facilitated for, amongst others, Wassail Theatre, Theatre Orchard, Westcountry Theatre, TakeArt, Stagedoor Manor NY, Vibe Indonesia and currently works as Head of Drama at Bishop Fox’s School.

When booking you may be asked to ‘choose seats’ for a venue at The Brewhouse, this messaging can be ignored and you can continue to book your ticket as normal. All tickets purchased will provide access to the online class and can be purchased up to 10 minutes before an event.
