In the first summer meeting of this fun, friendly and informal group we will explore Twelfth Night.

This summer we are delighted to be welcoming Shakespeare’s Globe on Tour to The Brewhouse. They are presenting a trio of plays exploring the themes of refuge and displacement. The plays are performed as a touring production would have been staged in the 17th century, with a stripped back booth stage, and a small, versatile troupe of actors. You can see Twelfth Night on 2 July at 7.30pm. We suggest that everyone who would like to attend the Theatre Unwrapped conversation watches the play and reads the script in advance of the meeting – a bit like a book club for Theatre!

Please let us know you are attending by booking a free ticket and we can reserve the correct sized table in the theatre café Braziers for our gathering. At the end of the session we will decide together the topic of our next meeting and choose a performance to attend together before discussing the following week. There are lots of exciting options coming up in the Brewhouse live and screened programme.

Theatre Unwrapped is part of The Brewhouse’s programme of cultivation activities, designed to explore theatrical events in our programme through informal discussion groups and Q&A sessions with visiting companies and artists.
