As the first female publisher of The Washington Post, Katherine Graham is already in the limelight when she teams up with her editor in order to expose government secrets spanning across three decades.

Set in the early 1970s, The Post depicts the true story of these journalists and their attempts to publish the Pentagon Papers, classified documents regarding undisclosed information about the 30-year involvement of the United States government in the Vietnam War.

This Oscar-nominated and star-studded film draws parallels with many current issues facing media and the press. Directed and produced by Steven Spielberg, the film stars Meryl Streep as Katharine Graham and Tom Hanks as Ben Bradlee.
