Vienna Festival Ballet are offering an opportunity for young people aged 8-16 years to work with and be taught by the artists involved.

The workshop will involve a short ballet class, focusing on technical elements of flexibility, strength and alignment. There will then be the chance to explore artistry and expressive qualities which bring a production to life. Following this, an open company rehearsal with the dancers in costume will show everyone just what’s involved when working on a performance.

This is a great opportunity to see life back stage and gain some insight into all the hard work that goes into these productions, and, at the end of it all, there will be a ‘question and answer’ session with the artists which gives the chance to ask those burning questions.

*This is a children’s workshop only. Adults MUST accompany their children but do not need to purchase a ticket. Unaccompanied children will not be permitted to take part.
