Choose one of 12 spring projects to create in this day workshop with Pam Martin of Somerset Stitch. Beginner or experienced stitchers both welcome to join us in the light and airy art room at the Brewhouse Theatre.
Pam’s approach is a little different to other stitch and sewing workshops, in that potentially all attendees can be making something different! Have a look at the projects and choose what you would like to make, then book your place.
Please bring your own sewing machine, Pam will be able to help you to understand your own machine so that you can tackle more projects at home after the workshop. Your machine can be dropped off at the door of the workshop before you park your car so there’s no need to worry about carrying a heavy machine through town. If you are going to do this, let us know when you book and we can email over directions.
Pam provides instruction sheets with stage photographs for all her workshop projects and also includes lots of ‘show and tell’. Most importantly, we encourage everyone to work at their own pace and really enjoy their day – it’s not a race!
Material will be supplied by Pam for a small donation on the day or you are welcome to bring your own if you have something special in mind.
Review from our last workshop:
“It was brilliant! Pam is a natural tutor – very empowering and encouraging – in addition to having a huge stitching knowledge. It was lovely to have a choice of projects and she brought with her all the fabric and accessories (and more) that we needed.”
