This exhibition features paintings and drawings by Sara Dudman RWA, exhibited alongside works by her students.

Sara’s works express her deep curiosity about the relationships people form with different landscapes and environments. Living and working in rural Somerset, she has a respectful understanding of rural communities and places.

Her works reference and infer wider and analogous landscape traditions and relationships. Explorations of paint and drawing media are as important as the subject in creating each work.

With a background in art education, Sara leads regular classes at The Brewhouse and occasional masterclasses in painting. Students’ works in this exhibition have been created during workshops run at The Brewhouse.

Own Art is a national initiative that makes buying contemporary art and craft affordable by providing interest-free loans for the purchase of original work. Own Art reduces the financial barriers and perceptions of elitism that commonly exist within the art market, by making it easier and more affordable for people to access art, regardless of their income and socio-economic background. Click the image above for a link to find out more.
The Brewhouse is part of the Own Art initiative which means that any art available for sale in this exhibition may make use of the interest free loans. What’s more, we take care of all the paperwork and application process for you – you just need to let our Box Office team know which piece you would like to buy.
