Would you love to explore colour, gesture and the joy of painting outdoors?
In this workshop you will learn how to express the beauty of ‘the majesty of trees’, using both watercolour and acrylic paint. During the day (weather permitting) you will spend time in Goodland Gardens painting trees ‘en plein air’. Returning to the studio, participants will learn how to use their outdoor sketches as a starting point for vibrant and expressive paintings of trees in acrylic on canvas.
A looseness of style, vitality and gestural marks are the hallmarks of Sara’s paintings. During the day, she will guide you through tried and trusted techniques for letting go and creating paintings which capture and express the ‘the majesty of trees’, using a rich colour palette. Liberate the inner artist within you in this one day painting workshop.
