IMPORTANT: Due to the weather conditions this screening for the 3 Mar has been cancelled. It will now be screened on  19 March at 7.30pm. Purchased tickets will be honoured for this date or a full refund offered.

As the first fully painted animated film, Loving Vincent is the biographical drama about the life of Vincent van Gogh, and, in particular, the circumstances of his death.

The film is constructed of 65,000 frames in the same style as Van Gogh’s own works. The amount of work poured in to this beautiful film has paid off, as it was awarded Best Animated Feature Film Award at the 30th European Film Awards in Berlin.

The film, written and directed by Dorota Kobiela and Hugh Welchman, is a Polish production, funded by both the Polish Film Institute and partially through a Kickstarter campaign.
