An informal untutored life drawing session. Everyone welcome, beginners and experienced artists.
A great chance for a weekly arty-social, plus the bar will be open during most sessions, so you can grab yourself a drink too!
The model will start the session with a warm up pose for around 20-30 minutes, followed by several quick poses of 2-5 minutes for rapid sketches. After this, the poses get longer, finishing with a long one (maybe 40-60 minutes).
The model can hold more difficult poses when it’s just 2-5 minutes, but for the long poses will have to do something easier. That’s why they will be sitting or lying down for the long poses.
Materials are not supplied so please bring along your own. The rooms is set up with tables and chairs so you may want to bring an easel. The basic life drawing starter kit would include some decent pencils or sticks of willow charcoal, a rubber, some paper – preferably at least A3, and a sharpener. There is a sink in the room if you would like to use paint.
*10% discount available when booking the full term!
We strongly advise booking your tickets to this activity in advance. Places are limited and we do not accept reservations, so arriving on the day may result in disappointment.
