A festive evening of making and crafting at the Brewhouse Theatre and Arts Centre. Learn a new skill and produce your own handmade gifts this year to surprise your friends and family. Sign up for two one hour workshops as part of the evening – book early to get your first choice.
Your ticket price includes all materials, instruction and merriment.
When booking you will need to choose 1 x Workshop 1 and 1 x Workshop 2, there are four workshops to choose from and they are listed below. Each session is repeated in the evening.
Entire evening runs from 6.30pm to 9.30pm and includes two 1 hour workshops.
Somerset Willow Festive Arrangement with Eden Flowers
Adorn your house this Christmas with a lovely flower arrangement designed around Somerset willow and festive favourite, stunning poinsettias. This long lasting arrangement will bring festive joy right up to and beyond the big day!
Japanese Postcard Notebook with Esther Williams
Make a beautiful notebook using the simple and decorative art of Japanese Stab Binding. Choose from a selection of postcard covers (or bring your own!) and learn how to create unique gifts that will wow your friends and family.
Nordic felted winter trees with Jill Denton
Using wet felting techniques create a small Nordic style winter tree. This would look wonderful displayed all winter long or could be replicated at home to make little gifts.
Clay Christmas Decorations with Jo Dove Ceramics
This taster workshop will include designing and cutting stencils to apply colour and pattern to clay shapes to make Christmas decorations. We will also use wooden stamps and natural objects to create textures. Approx. 8 finished and fired decorations. Decorations will be glazed and fired by Jo back at her studio and will be available for collection from the Brewhouse in December.
