A Saturday morning theatrical circus club for children and young people who love to express themselves and have fun. The Brewhouse is excited to be inspiring the next generation of circus artists.
Sessions with Pocket Fluff will include juggling and acrobatics, balance and play. A fantastic way to build physical confidence and make new friends in a non-competitive and exciting group. We will build on performance skills and there will be guest sessions from aerial instructors.
What should my child bring?
– Comfortable clothing similar to PE kit (tights or leggings and a t-shirt). Wear trainers although some activities maybe barefoot.
– Bottle of water, and maybe a fruit for when we’re finished (bananas are great for their body after working out!)
– Tons of energy!!
Can I stay and watch?
We ask parents to drop their children and pick them up when the class is over, why not stay and have a drink in the cafe. There will be an informal sharing session for parents and carers at the end of the term so you can see what they have achieved.
Do my children need to have had any kind of previous experience?
No, they don’t. If they have had gymnastics, ballet, or any kind of dance classes before it’s useful for them, but is not needed. We start from the very basics to slowly help them develop their physical skills, strength and flexibility. It is a great boost to their self esteem when they master a new skill!
Note: For younger children (7-10) there is an early morning session between 9.30am – 10.30am.
