Join professional instructor Aneta for her taster sessions and try out Flamenco – you won’t regret it!
Workshop 1: Beginners 12-1
No special shoes, fancy frocks or perfect partners required to attend this Adult Beginners Flamenco taster session. Just bring your enthusiasm and a little bit of rhythm!
Aneta runs beginners classes at The Brewhouse every Thursday evening. This is an exciting opportunity to try out the expressive dance form before deciding if you want to come regularly. Aneta is a professional dancer and instructor who guides students to develop their understanding of the essential foot/heel rhythms, posture, strength and body control, as well as learning hand movements and expression.
Workshop 2: Beginners & Improvers 1.15- 2.15
This taster is for both beginners and those who have danced a little bit of Flamenco before. You’ll get a feel for Aneta’s approach for beginners, and also get an insight into a few ways to push your dance to the next level.
These taster sessions will reflect the format of her regular Thursday evening classes which give an exciting opportunity to learn an expressive dance form with a professional instructor, developing your understanding of the essential foot/heel rhythms, posture, strength and body control, as well as learning hand movements and expression.
When Aneta discovered Flamenco, her heart was stolen by this Spanish/Gypsy art form, its music and expressive dance, leading her to pursue this passion, studying with talented Flamenco artists La Truco, Antonio Canales, Maria Juncal.
This event takes place in our Studio Theatre.
