The EUCO gave its first concerts in 1981 and soon gained a worldwide reputation as a musical ambassador for the European Union.

This world class orchestra has delighted audiences across the globe for almost 40 years and we’re lucky enough to have them join use this autumn at The Brewhouse.

Their current repertoire includes:  VIVALDI – Concerto for Four Violins, PACHEBEL – Canon, BACH – Concerto for Two Violins, BARBER – Adagio & TCHAIKOVSKY – Serenade for Strings.

Directed by the experienced talent of Hans-Peter Hofmann – who began playing violin at the age of four – the current EUCO lineup can include:

Plus many distinguished artists have performed with EUCO on its tours including the likes of Mischa Maisky, Julian Lloyd Webber, James Galway, Ivo Pogorelich, Gil Apap, Nicola Benedetti, Tasmin Little, Yehudi Menuhin, Igor Oistrakh, Alina Ibragimova, Lazar Berman, Freddy Kempf and John Lill.

IMPORTANT – PARKING: Please note that the public Coal Orchard car park, adjacent to the Brewhouse, will be closed from Mon 1st Oct – Fri 23 Nov for the demolition of the old swimming baths.  We recommend alternative car parking in either Wood Street Car Park (TA1 1UR) or Canon Street Car Park (TA1 1SN).  Both are approx. 10 mins walk from the theatre.
