A creative workshop with the dancers of Ballet Cymru, designed to be fun, informative and give participants a deeper understanding into Ballet Cymru, its dancers and its repertoire.

They are interactive and encourage participation, inspiration, and a chance to meet and work with the professional dancers of the company.

A workshop will consist of a dance/ballet warm up followed by an introduction to the company dancers and a short talk and demonstration of the company’s current production. Participants are then taught a piece of adapted repertoire before finishing with some Q & A.

Tour Workshops operate in conjunction with Ballet Cymru’s performances – watching the professional performance is an important part of the workshop and enables participants to have a richer and more fulfilling experience. Therefore The Brewhouse has a Special Offer – attendance is free for attendees who have bought a ticket for Ballet Cymru’s Romeo a Juliet – see here for details.

Ballet Cymru is a chamber ballet for Wales, committed to inclusion and innovation in dance and classical ballet, and to the highest standard of collaboration with dancers, choreographers, designers, composers and musicians. This workshop will be led by Ballet Cymru’s Education Team (Louise Lloyd – Access and Outreach Officer along with four company dancers).
