King Theseus and Queen Hippolyta are having a summer party, bigger and better than any before, and you’re invited! But beware of gate-crashers of a particularly magical nature – once you’re in the forest, things can get a little wild…

Performing in a magical outdoor wonderland accessed through the museum gates, a company of mischievous fairies, love-blind romantics and earnest actors, directed by the award-winning Scott Le Crass, look forward to welcoming you to a festival like no other.

Exmoor’s own Pleasure Dome Theatre are partnering with Taunton Brewhouse and The Museum of Somerset to bring you a groovy new production of William Shakespeare’s classic comedy A Midsummer Night’s Dream filled with music, mayhem, and magic!

The production will take place in Castle Garden and the entrance will be through the Museum of Somerset. Dress for the weather, bring a blanket to sit on, and don’t forget to pack a picnic!

Camping chairs and umbrellas are strictly prohibited.
