Take Part Online – Requirements & Tips


The platform that we have chosen to use for these classes is the hugely popular Zoom video conference platform. 



  • Book your place just like you would for a normal session
  • After booking you will receive three emails:
    1) Standard booking confirmation (immediately)
    2) Instructions on how to join the class & session link (the day after booking)
    3) Link reminder (the morning of your class)
  • Once you have received this link, please arrive 10 minutes before the start of the session



  • Check your 'Junk Mail' or 'Spam' folder if you have not received your session link
  • Add us to your 'Safe Sender' list if you are able to - this will stop future emails from ending up in your Junk/Spam



  • Laptop/tablet/mobile/desktop computer* 
  • Webcam  
  • Microphone
  • Internet connection of at least 3Mbs*
  • Charge cables if using a laptop
  • Materials/attire/equipment for a normal session*

  • Make sure that your device doesn’t have lots of windows open and programmes running – this will help to improve the performance of your device 
  • If using a tablet/mobile device, make sure that this is setup in a suitable position before the start of the course 
  • If your internet is slow, try setting up near your router 
  • Brewhouse staff are not able to provide technical support for issues related to your ISP (Internet Service Provider), but should you encounter technical difficulties during the session, you can reach the Box Office on: 01823 283 244
