Casting Call – Wind in the Willows

Taunton Brewhouse is looking for nine performers to cast in its Winter musical production of Julian Woolford & Richard John’s adaptation of Kenneth Grahame’s Wind in the Willows, directed by Anna Fox.

Dates
• Self-tape Deadline: 20 August 2021, 5pm (details below)
• Auditions: 28 August 2021, Taunton Brewhouse (we may hold further auditions in other
locations, most likely London, following this date, to cast any unfilled roles)
• Rehearsals: 15 November – 04 December 2021, Taunton Brewhouse
• Performances: 09 December 2021 – 02 January 2022, Taunton Brewhouse

Roles
Mole: Male identifying/non-binary, 20-35yo
Rat: Male identifying/non-binary, 25-40yo
Badger: Female identifying/non-binary, 45-70yo
Toad: Male identifying/non-binary, 40-55yo
Chief Weasel, Engine Driver: Male identifying/non-binary, 20-45yo
Mrs. Rabbit, Gaoler’s Daughter: Female identifying/non-binary, 20-40yo
Mrs. Hedgehog, Magistrate, Washerwoman, Bargewoman: Female identifying/non-binary, 20-45yo
Rabbit, Stoat, Ticket Clerk, Henry: Male identifying/non-binary, 20-45yo
Alfred, Ferret, Car Salesman, Policeman: Female identifying/non-binary, 20-45yo
