Verve, the award winning postgraduate performance company of the Northern School of Contemporary Dance comes to The Brewhouse with a mixed bill of new dance works specially commissioned from international choreographers Filip Van Huffel (Belgium), Glenn Wilkinson (UK) and Milan Kozánek (Slovakia).
Dance artists emerging from the north of England have also created ‘shorts’ for the Verve 09 repertoire; they include Jennifer-Lynn Crawford, Katie Baldwin and Leanne Pike.
This exciting programme brings together the best in European and British contemporary dance and is performed with ‘verve’ by the equally international line-up of dancers who comprise the company. The dancers, originating from the UK, South Korea, Belgium and Sweden, are selected graduates from leading conservatoires and universities.
