This amazing ten piece Cuban band return with a collection of haunting tunes, great arrangements and the sort of feel that gets the whole street dancing!
Composed and arranged by Kiko Cowan (vocals and flute), Expresion Cubana comprises of Elisa Jimenez (vocals and coro.), Pablo Mendelssohn (trumpet), Sam Mayne (alto sax), Joe Auckland (trumpet) and a four man rhythm section of piano, electric bass, drums and percussion.
Constantly in demand, recent gigs have included the Royal Festival Hall’s ‘Festival of Cuban Culture,’ ‘Festival of Light’ at the National Theatre and the Birmingham International Jazz Festival.
