Clive James in the Evening
Jeremy Meadow Ltd presents
Clive James in the Evening
Tuesday 2 June 2009
Writer, broadcaster, raconteur - and Australia’s finest export - Clive James has been a British institution for longer than he cares to remember.
In an unprecedented feat of strength he carries his latest book on stage and then talks about almost anything else, after which he answers questions about everything except his liaison with Margarita Pracatan.
Famous for writing the way he talks, Clive James can talk the way he writes. When asked if he was actually really a stand-up comedian, Clive was the man who lay back in his sun-lounger beside the swimming pool of the Four Seasons hotel in Los Angeles and said “What does it look like?”
A feast of opinion, some of it surprisingly sane. Concludes with an exclusive Question & Answer session – pitch your own question to the master interviewer!
