Chain Reaction and the Arts Award

This exhibition is part of the RE:GENERATION youth festival and focuses on showcasing two aspects of work with young people across Somerset. The first, in association with SPAEDA, is work by young people that have received the ‘Arts Award’ and the second is work resulting from the multi-media ‘Chain Reaction’ project.
Now in its second year, Chain Reaction presents work resulting from exploring the cause and effect of actions in relevance to criminal damage and how feelings and emotions that cause destructive behaviour can be channelled into constructive activities. This partnership project involved Bishop Fox’s Community School, Actiontrack, The Engine Room, Taunton Local Service Team, Somerset Youth Offending Team and Katherine Bull, artist.
