Brewhouse receives funding from Arts Council England for the first time since new management team in place

An official announcement by way of the lead story on BBC Somerset’s Breakfast show with Claire Carter, was the most fitting way for the Brewhouse Theatre to confirm that it has received an endorsement from the Arts Council England by way of a grant towards the all new in-house Christmas production “Around the World in 80 Days”.

ACE representative Paul Goddard confirmed the investment and said the Arts Council of England were delighted to be now invest in the Brewhouse following on from what has been a very difficult time.  He praised the high quality and imaginative programme that the new administration has put in place, and in particular the plans for its first in-house production.

Brewhouse Chief Executive Vanessa Lefrancois featured as the lead interview confirming the Theatre’s position and took time to thank the Arts Council and also Taunton Deane Borough Council for the support shown to the theatre in the past two years.

“Around the World in Eighty Days” tickets are on sale now and the show runs from the 9th Dec – 31 Dec.
