Following the phenomenal success of Tabu and ImMortal The Brewhouse are delighted to welcome the UK's leading contemporary circus "Nofit State" back to Taunton.
NoFit State's mission is to become the circus everyone wants to join. Now with Parklife you can! Taking up a residency in Taunton, NoFit State Circus ditches the big top, rips up the rulebook and invites you to get involved. With a spectacular aerial circus playground and open house programme of taster sessions, rehearsals and workshops, NoFit State will be working with local artists and community groups to develop new acts and routines. From live music jams to bicycle ballets and displays of extreme sports - everything will be on show and up for grabs.
Public workshops will happen in Somerset Square next to The Brewhouse on 10 - 12 September and information about what's on when can be found on chalk boards in the square or at http://www.nofitstate.org
From Thursday 23 to Saturday 25 September the company will open the doors of the cricket ground so you can sneak a preview of the rehearsals, watch them train and comment of the process. Then, as the week draws to a close, all the elements come together in one large-scale open-air circus performance in Parklife - The Finale on Sun 26 September.
Treat the family to a thrilling evening of circus spectacle. Physical fireworks and acrobatics combine with jaw dropping skills and visual poetry as a large cast of professional circus artists and local performers dive, jive, swing and fly to the inspirational music of Nofit State Circus' live orchestra.
