The Wind In The Willows
Christmas Show
Friday 7 December 2012 - Saturday 5 January 2013
2pm
A charming world of companionship, carefree boating and delicious picnicking opens up for lovable Mole as he joins kind-hearted Ratty, brave Badger and the bumptious Mr Toad in this wonderful classic story.
It is 1936 and the world is changing fast; motorcars are more powerful, swing is the latest music craze and the old class system is breaking down. Mr Toad’s reckless living and extravagance leads to the loss of his beloved home, and the four friends go into battle to regain Toad Hall. Will they overcome the barbaric stoats and weasels, will Mr Toad see the error of his ways and can friendship conquer all?
Come and join in this whirlwind riverbank adventure from the team behind Alice In Wonderland, The Lion The Witch And The Wardrobe, When Santa Fell To Earth and A Christmas Carol. Filled with music, humour and special effects, this much-loved story will enchant all ages.
