Braziliant Brewhouse!

Sunday 12 August

Get a taste for Brazilian Culture as the Olympic Games leave London for Rio de Janeiro.

As we come to the end of an incredible Olympic Games, catch the final days and the closing ceremony live at The Brewhouse where we're screening the BBC's coverage all day from 10am. Entry is free and there's no need to book.

We're celebrating in style this Sunday with a spectacular, Brazilian themed send off. Join us and soak up the hot, carnival atmosphere outside The Brewhouse. With something for everyone, we're presenting an ambitious, FREE programme full of Brazilian culture and inspiration.

From 12pm Fuse Performance are joined by Somerset's best young talent, leading workshops in DJing, beat boxing and street dance.
12pm - 6pm local artist and designer Lindsey Miles will be making Carnival-styled, Brazilian head dresses with the public. Glitters, sequins, feathers - design and make your own and take a bit of The Brewhouse's Brazil away with you.
4pm - 5.30pm & 6pm - 7.30pm sizzling Samba sessions, with dance teacher Latisha Cesar, a perfect introduction to the Brazilian dance-form.
8pm - 9pm a sensuous South American Set from Guitarist Benjamin Spender in the Cafe Bar.
From 8.30pm we'll be welcoming everyone into our Olympic Screening for the very last time as we show the final hours of the games and the hugely anticipated Closing Ceremony.

Other acts are to be confirmed.

See you all there, it's going to be Braziliant!
