Adult Classes and workshops at The Brewhouse give adults and life long learners the opportunity to try something they've always wanted to do, attain more knowledge, further a skill or just have fun!

Tango
Led by Martin Travers
Monday Evenings from 1 September
(excl. 27 Oct, 8, 15, 22 & 29 Dec)
Tango is an incredibly social dance originating from Argentina. Learn fun, romantic and playful moves.
7.15 – 8.15pm class,
8.15 – 8.30pm 15 mins practice session (all abilities).

Salsa
Led by Martin Travers

Mondays Evenings from 1 September (excl. 27 Oct, 8, 15, 22 & 29 Dec)
Fiery, romantic, sexy and fun! For those who are beginners, Salsa is one of the more accessible forms of dance. For all levels of dancers – we have a session to suit you.
8.30 – 10pm class and practice session (all abilities).

Street Dance
Led by Katey Leader from Pretty Good Girl Dance Company
Wednesday Evenings from 3 September
(excl. 29 Oct, 10, 17, 24 & 31 Dec)
A funky class that is challenging yet accessible! Designed to improve fitness and flexibility, co-ordination and technique. Sessions incorporate a range of Street Dance styles, from hip hop to break dancing.
6.15 – 7.45pm

Beginners Street Dance
Led by Katey Leader from Pretty Good Girl Dance Company
Wednesday Evenings from 3 September
(excl. 29 Oct, 10, 17, 24 & 31 Dec)
Can’t dance but love dancing? Then this is the session for you! Improve your fitness and learn some new and funky moves in a supportive, friendly environment. Sessions aim to push aerobic fitness, and incorporate a range of basic Street Dance styles.
7.45 – 8.45pm

Samba Drumming
Led by Howard Harrison

Carnival! An introduction to samba. Get carried away with the exciting rhythms of the Brazilian carnivals. Instruments provided.



Storytelling Workshop
Led by Wild Words
Tues 25 November, 2 - 4.30pm
£10 / £15 workshop & performance
A one-off opportunity to work with accomplished storytelling company Wild Words in a workshop of telling, sharing, hearing, and playing with stories. During the workshop they will gently guide participants through the steps of being able to tell and perform a traditional folktale both individually and as part of a group. They will also explore physicality, voice, characterisation, improvisation and ensemble work.

Big Draw Open Workshop
Friday 26th September, 10am - 5pm, FREE
Why not engage with the changing vista of the Taunton Landscape, making work in response to the Brewhouse Gallery Exhibitions. Working with two professional artists, you can either come and watch or take part in creating a new artwork. This workshop is open to all ages and abilities.
