Outside In Induction Day
This induction day is an opportunity to find out more about the ground breaking project Outside In, based at the Pallant House Gallery, West Sussex. Its purpose is to showcase and give opportunities to artists who would otherwise be excluded from the cultural life of their community. Outside In aims to provide a platform for artists who find it difficult to access the art world either because of mental health issues, disabilities, health, social circumstances or because their work does not conform to what is normally considered as art. Come along for a chance to meet the Outside In team and some of the artists engaged with the project. We will tell you how you can get involved, how to create your online galleries and all about the exhibitions in 2012 – 2013. For more information visit www.outsidein.org.uk.

Cultivate Hub
Wildlife Photography Course by acclaimed local photographer, Ben Simmonds.
This is a fantastic opportunity for camera enthusiasts to learn how to photograph wildlife in local areas of beauty. Participants will have the opportunity to have their photographs shown as part of our Past, Present And Future exhibition at the end of the course. You’ll need to bring your own SLR Camera – preferably with a 300mm+ lens spare batteries and CF Card, refreshments, walking boots and waterproofs. The group will be walking approximately two miles per day.

Salsa
Go from zero to hero on the dance floor with the south west’s biggest salsa company, Abanico Salsa, and their popular beginner’s salsa course. Progress from learning the basics: timing, steps and holds to mastering the essential techniques and moves needed to salsa with confidence. No experience or partner necessary. If you wish, in the last session you can take part in a special salsa event celebrating The Brewhouse’s 35th Birthday.
