This was an amazing, heartfelt performance, which took us on an amazing journey through real people's lives. It was so moving - if you live in Somerset this is a must see show!

This show is so special it is hard to find the words to talk about it. As I heard five people telling stories of their lives in Somerset, my own life stories came flooding into my mind. As these people were so clearly proud of their history and place here, I felt that my own lifelong love for Somerset - and the people who live here - was celebrated and, somehow, validated. Somerset is special, and this play captures the essence of that specialness with REAL people and REAL voices. Of the hundreds of theatre experiences I have had, this is the one that will never, ever leave me. Profound thanks and gratitude to the cast, and to Robert Miles. THIS is what the arts can do!

This piece has had me thinking for days. Really good bit of theatre that lets real people do the talking. It's not fussy and it's not fake. Great to see a play in and about Somerset that pushes the envelope a bit! Well done Brewhouse and all of the performers! I'd recommend this to anyone who's into something a bit different and cares about issues that affect the place where they live!

This show really surprised me. To be honest I hadn't been that keen on watching a bunch of people chatting around a barbecue but my wife wanted to see this. As it happened I am really grateful to her that she did. I have only lived in Somerset for ten years and these people and their stories have given me a real sense of pride in my adopted county. A truly beautiful piece that feels more like being invited into people's lives than theatre. Thank you.
