This is one of the most improtant pieces of theatre I have seen in many a year. Too often theatre seems to serve up reflections of white, middle class life. We live in a multi-cultural, multi-class society and this needs reflecting. 'Susan and Darren' dared to be different: it was truthful - painfully so, at times - funny, revealing and extremely thought provoking. Reactions will always vary in theatre due to the subjective nature of the art form. That said, if the Brewhouse has apurpos it must surely be to offer challenging, engaging and exciting theatre that is true to the society in which we live. It should be entertaining, yes, but should also ask questions - often the questions we mostly shy away from. More of this, please.

p.s. To save anyone reaching for the dictionary: 'improtant' and 'apurpos' are typing errors - sorry..!

I agree. I really enjoyed watching this "show" for want of a better word. It was a real eye opener, Susan and Darren are lovely people, and their show touched many places that most would not dare to tread. I sincerely hope they return to Taunton, although I get the impression we were very lucky to have them at all! Thanks to Robert for sorting that out for us. Liam

A truly ground breaking performance which works on many levels. Thought provoking, contemporary innovatory, poignant with heart. Just stunning! Thanks for bringing it to Taunton.
