Great performance last night by all players. Forkbeard as brilliant as ever. However, I feel I must make comment on the seating. I have been coming to the Brewhouse for many years but dread the thought of enduring any performance because I know my back will ache afterwards. I know I am not alone as most of my friends also comment on this. There are two problems. The base of the seats that angle too far backward and the angle that some of the seats face towards the stage making you twist. I am sorry but I felt that I had to voice this because a great experience is marred by this.

Truly awful! Well done to the cast for their professionalism and energy. Sadly the production seemed to have two goals; firstly to remove any need for the audience to exercise any imagination and, secondly, to present a procession of self-indulgent gadgets/gimmicks.

I found the play to be great fun throughout, with the cast being lively and upbeat, the mood being very festive, and I loved the gizmos, particularly the ghost with the huge face in the shopping trolley (ghost of Christmas present I think), the immense turkey in a panic, and Tiny Tim was very cleverly done to look extra specially scrawny and pathetic. All 5 of us who went together had a really good evening.

Absolutely superb! My family and I enjoyed it from start to finish. Fabulous production design, excellent music and a wonderful cast. A slight technical hitch on the AV didn't distract from a wonderful night out. This is the sort of thing that makes you realise that you don't go to the cinema nearly enough.
