| We came down from Bristol for the evening and were pleased that Taunton folk braved the cold night to almost fill the theatre. Arthur was a bit like the curates egg-good in parts. The firsy half was very funny and enjoyable. After the interval my wife and I felt he was 'blagging' it a bit and the show seemed to drift and was not as good as the earlier stuff. Still, it was a good evening, Arthur is a likeable man and has lots of great stories to tell. Can the theatre please sort out the food situation in the evenings- something like hot soup and crusty rolls would have gone down a storm last night- but there was nothing! |
