Great play to start off with. A very nice production - lovely costumes. The cast handled the script very well. I really enjoyed this and look forward to their next Oscar Wilde Production.

Dear Jane, thank you for your feedback, and I’m sorry you had a disappointing pre-theatre experience last weekend. We are in the process of reviewing our catering provision, and are currently in talks with several companies. We very much hope to announce our future plans in time for bookings for our Spring 2009 season, which go on general sale in early December. We take on board your comments about our bar staff – we have recently recruited a number of new staff, who we are still in the process of training, and the new bar is a different layout for our existing staff, they will speed up as they settle in. We’ve received a raft of positive comments about our newly refurbished Café Bar and Link area and a rave review in the Somerset County Gazette, but we’re aware that you can’t please all of the people all of the time. I am sorry the new design is not to your taste, but equally, the old design was also not to many people’s taste. The design brief, carried out by a Somerset College Design Student was for our new décor to reflect the aspirations of a 21st Century art centre, and to allow us to truly call ourselves family friendly. We believe we have achieved that. Best wishes Robert

The performance was excellent. However, we were very disappointed in the new bar area which had a very unpleasant smell and resembled a station waiting room. It is also disappointing that there is no food available now. I do feel that the bar staff should be given a shake up as they do not seem to have any sense of urgency! We dined at the Sanctuary rushed to the Theatre in the pouring rain, took ages to to be served out drinks and then had to drink them in a hurry. Not very relaxing or enjoyable. I think management needs to look at the whole pre-theatre experience!
