Somerset Art Weeks
Once again this September artists from across Somerset open their studios and invite the public in to these private spaces. To support this event The Brewhouse is working with Somerset Art Works (SAW) and Stroud Valley Arts (SVA) to present a Gloucestershire – Somerset artists’ exchange. From 6 – 14 Sep, the gallery will present a film about Somerset based Hacker Farm, who were resident at SVA in May. Then from 15 – 29 Sep, during SAW open studios, the gallery space will become a resident studio for two artists, one from Gloucestershire and one from Somerset.
The Café Bar will host a special exhibition, featuring photographs of Somerset artists and their studios, by graduate photographer Sebastian King in collaboration with writer/poet David Davies.
