Adapted from Mary Norton's much loved classic The Borrowers, this film from world-renowned Japanese animation house Studio Ghibli is a delight. It is the story of a miniature family who co-exist in a house with their full-grown counterparts and of the adventures experienced by young Arrietty as she wanders around the gargantuan world, striking up a friendship with the ailing Sho. The film was scripted by the Oscar-winning director of Spirited Away, Hayao Miyazaki.
